    It turns out that if you press and hold one of these icons for a second, you'll then be able to move that icon around the screen. I did this by accident and thought my phone was messing up. The thing about this is that the icons don't lock in the new place. That would be better. If someone figures out something please share.

    what version do u have? i doesnt seem to be working for me.

    I have version 3. on external screen, on web browser, touch and hold one of the icons on the bottom of the screen until half of the screen fades a little. Your finger should still be pressing the icon. Now slide the icon anywhere in the faded area and let go when on the place desired.

    Don't see anyway to get them to stay.

    I assume they allow that because if you weren't able to move those icons, it would be impossible to touch very low icons or links on certain website unless you open up the phone. But we're too lazy to do something like that.

    yeah on mine i can move them to the top , bottom or sides it worked for me on v. 5 and 7

    pretty crazy. seems like the bottom corners are prime real estate for those buttons though.
