    touch is $40 bucks now..figures. that usually means the phone is getting obsolete

    Yup... The Phone has been out for 9months now, I'm guessing the "end of life" is just around the corner but I believe by law the Phone must be supported for 3yrs after it goes EOL before it can go EOS (end of support).
